CANCELLATION PROCEDURES
In the case of inclement weather, the procedures listed below are used to cancel games. We do our best to play games to minimize rescheduling. Please note that depending on the weather forecast, games could be cancelled in full or half-day chunks. The website and social media may be updated on Fridays, if weather has been poor throughout the week.
Travel Teams: Cancellations for Travel teams that are playing at home will be posted on the website on Saturday mornings. Travel teams that are playing away will be contacted by their coach if the game is cancelled. Please email your coach with any cancellation and rescheduling questions.
In-Town Teams: Cancellations for the In-Town Program will be posted on the website and social media by on Saturday mornings. If the website is not updated with a GAMES CANCELLED message, then games are on and fields are playable.
If some but not all fields are deemed unplayable, those games affected will be moved to an open field. They will not be cancelled. Visible signs will be placed on the field directing teams to new fields.
Half day cancellation:
At 7:00 am: games with start times 7:45 am through 11:00 am will be cancelled. The website and social media will be updated by 7:15am Saturday morning.
At 11:00 am: the website and social media will be updated to either play or cancel games with start times 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
